The RNA’s Ken Chitwood breaks down the top three religion stories of the year. To no one's surprise, the Oct 7 attacks by Hamas in Israel and Israel's response ranked number one. The ongoing fallout from the Supreme Court's reversal of abortion rights is number two on the domestic list, followed by schism in the United Methodist Church, the nation's second-largest Protestant denomination. And Pope Francis captured Religion Newsmaker of the Year.
