A Conversation with Jemar Tisby September 19, 2021
In 2019 his book The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism was released.  In the wake of George Floyd’s killing -- Tisby’s book is now a New York Times bestseller.  From the earliest decisions supporting chattel slavery to the political alliances and silence during critical periods in American history-- Tisby lays out a compelling series of events to illustrate the critical role of the church in supporting racist policies and practices that persist today.

We've talked with Tisby twice in the last two years. In our most recent visit, he shared the personal challenges of leading in this historical moment.
