Dear [Name of Station],

I’ve been listening to a great show that I think you should know about.  It’s called Interfaith Voices, and it is the leading religion newsmagazine on public radio.  It plays no favorites in the religious world.  It does not proselytize, and it covers all major faith traditions, even welcoming atheists and agnostics as guests.

Since 2002, host Maureen Fiedler has been covering issues of religion, ethics, and spirituality, focusing on their intersection with politics and culture.  This year she received the Media Excellence Award from the Rumi Forum for work promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

Recent guests include Dr. Ruth Westheimer, novelist Anne Rice, NPR personality Margot Adler, and Rev. Ted Haggard.  To learn more about the show and to download episodes, visit www.interfaithradio.org.

Listening to the podcast is great, but I would love to hear the show on my local station.  Sixty-six carriers in North America already broadcast Interfaith Voices – why don’t you join them?  It’s available free of charge.  You can contact assistant producer Jane Flotte by e-mail at jane[at]interfaithradio.org or by phone at (301) 699-3443 x111 for more information.

Thanks for your consideration,

Sincerely,
