Rumi Forum Media Excellence Award
On October 27, Maureen Fiedler (pictured, on left) and Interfaith Voices received the Rumi Forum's Media Excellence Award at the RUMI Peace and Dialogue Awards on Capitol Hill. Diane Vogel (pictured, on right), producer of the Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU, presented the award. We feel very honored to have been recognized, and extend a heartfelt thanks to the Rumi Forum.
In her acceptance speech, Maureen told the story of the birth of the concept for Interfaith Voices, which occurred shortly after September 11, 2001. She thanked listeners for their ongoing support of the show.
