Seeking Solace in the Saints |

Colleen Carroll Campbell used to be a college party girl—she cared more about resume-building than religion. Then her father gave her a biography of Teresa of Avila, a 16th century Catholic saint. When Campbell picked up the book half-heartedly, she had no idea that she was about to embark on a spiritual journey through the lives of six female saints. As she later struggled to come to grips with her father’s Alzheimer’s, these women became Campbell’s guides and companions.
