De-institutionalizing Spiritual Care December 14, 2017
Fewer and fewer Americans are attending religious services, so where do people turn when crisis strikes and big questions emerge? That's where chaplains come in. They're not just ministers, rabbis and imams. They also work as spiritual generalists out in the world, ministering to factory workers, soldiers, lawmakers, athletes, inmates, students, patients, and even airline travelers. And they might just be the future of spiritual care.
