Office Manager Job Opening
Interfaith Voices, the nation’s only public radio show exclusively about religion, seeks an experienced and creative Administrator/Office Manager. The position is a contract, part-time (1-2 days a week) position. The office is located at WAMU Studios, one block from the Van Ness Metro Station, on Connecticut Ave., NW, in Washington, DC. Join a team that has explored the intersection of faith and public policy since the difficult days following the 9/11 attacks.
The Administrator/Office Manager position is newly created and will join our passionate team of five: founder and host, development manager, two producers, and assistant producer/fellow. The Administrator/Office Manager will begin work in January 2017 or when a successful candidate is hired. After a period of orientation, there is a possibility that some work could be done by telecommuting.
Major Responsibilities:

Monitor and pay bills

Label and code donations

Enter donor information into Donor Perfect

Send timely thank you letters to donors

Coordinate with development manager to organize and implement direct mail fundraising production (Development manager determines message, symbols, art, etc.)

Track and respond to non-content correspondence

Coordinate with external entities (WAMU, NPR, bookkeeper, etc.) regarding non-content issues

Arrange for travel for staff and consultants

Other duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications:

QuickBooks proficiency
-
Data base proficiency, Donor Perfect preferred

Familiarity with accounting principles

Strong organizational skills

Commitment to the mission of Interfaith Voices

Professional office manner; excellent communication skills
