Bill D’Antonio served as Chief Executive Officer of the American Sociological Association from 1982-1991. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies at Catholic University. Bill is a recipient of the Rev. Luzbetak Award for Exemplary Church Research from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate. He and his wife have 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
C. Naseer Ahmad
Naseer, originally from Pakistan, is a writer and consultant based in Washington. He co-authored "A Diamond of Africa" and served as adjunct faculty at Northern Virginia Community College (1991-1993). He also serves on the Board of the Embassy Series - a musical program uniting people through diplomacy.
Dr. Zahid Butt is CEO of Medisolv, a Maryland-based national company providing software solutions to health systems. He is a board certified Gastroenterologist and former partner in Digestive Disease Associates. Over the last thirty years he has held a variety of leadership positions in diverse healthcare settings and provides key insights into leveraging Health IT to improve quality of patient care.
Dana Greene, dean emerita of Oxford College of Emory University, is editor or author of seven books, including Denise Levertov: A Poet's Life. For almost three decades she was on the history faculty of St. Mary's College, the public honors college of Maryland. She serves on the boards of the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation and Interfaith Voices and is a frequent reviewer for National Catholic Reporter.
Ane Powers - Chair
Ane serves on the faculty for the leadership practice of American Management Association. As a director on the board of Hostelling International USA, she provided governance oversight during a recent period of significant transformation, merging 26 councils and the central organization. She continues to support HI in committee roles. As a Servas host, Ane welcomes international travelers into her home, providing an opportunity to enhance intercultural understanding.
Beverly Schlotterbeck - Secretary
Bev has spent more years in the communications field than she cares to say...as a reporter, editor and public relations director. She currently is the executive editor at the National Association of Counties, where she manages and directs the editorial and production process for County News, the association’s membership newspaper, its website and its emailed newsletter.
Michael Tobolski - Treasurer
Michael is Director of Corporate Relations at WEConnect International, a global non-profit focused on building sustainable communities through women business development outside of the US. Michael is also Co-founder of IVS Solutions, a Supplier Diversity Web Portal Design and Data Management firm. Michael resides in Mount Airy, Maryland with his wife Christine and is an avid blue-water sailor.
Jason is the Director of Campaigns and Development at the Franciscan Action Network. Jason spent a year in Tennessee doing a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. After JVC, Jason moved to the D.C. area to complete his master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University. Jason has also completed a fellowship as an online organizer at Catholics United doing communications and advocacy work.
Victoria J. Barnett is Director of the Programs on Ethics, Religion and the Holocaust at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. From 2004-2014 she was one of the general editors of the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works, the seventeen-volume English translation of Bonhoeffer’s complete works. Her scholarship has focused on the history of the interfaith movement during the Holocaust, the German Confessing Church and the theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Dr. Kevin Nourse is an executive coach, leadership researcher, speaker, and adjunct professor with a passion for helping leaders and managers resiliently navigate change and adversity. He is the principal of Nourse Leadership Strategies and co-author of the book Shift Into Thrive: Six Strategies for Women to Unlock the Power of Resiliency.
